Laslo Custom Kitchens & Make-A-Wish: A Partnership Built on Purpose
At Laslo Custom Kitchens, our commitment to community runs deeper than design. Since 2016, we’ve partnered with Make-A-Wish® Greater Pennsylvania and West Virginia to help grant meaningful wishes to children facing critical illnesses. These experiences provide moments of hope, comfort, and joy for families during some of the most challenging times of their lives.
Through this long-standing partnership, a portion of every Laslo project helps fund wishes. Every kitchen we complete, every bath remodel, and every home project directly supports this mission.

Supporting Life-Changing Wishes Since 2016: A Personal Commitment
“About ten years ago, during a family vacation, my wife Jamie and I realized how lucky we were to have that special time together with our kids, Madison and Gavin. It hit us that not every family gets those moments—time to laugh, make memories, and just be together without life’s worries.”
— Neil Laslo, Owner of Laslo Custom Kitchens
For families navigating a child’s critical illness, daily routines are often filled with medical appointments, treatments, and uncertainty. Make-A-Wish offers something else entirely: time to just be a family. Whether it’s a dream trip, a special experience, or something uniquely personal, granted wishes provide emotional relief and renewed strength.
Our entire Laslo family — Jamie, Madison, Gavin, and Neil — has been involved in every step. From assembling care packages to writing notes of encouragement, we work to ensure each wish feels personal and thoughtful.
A Decade of Impact
Since 2016, Laslo Custom Kitchens has helped grant 12 individual wishes, and contributed to a 13th through a local community initiative. We’ve supported one wish each year, and in 2025, have so far helped fund three wishes in a single year — our most impactful year to date. This wish initiative will continue as a legacy for Laslo and our community.
A portion of all Laslo Custom Cabinetry’s proceeds supports this mission.
“None of this would be possible without our amazing customers,” says Neil. “For over 50 years, you’ve supported Laslo Custom Kitchens, helping us grow, providing for our family, and supporting the families of the hundreds of employees who’ve worked with us over the decades. Your trust in us allows us to give back to the community that’s been with us every step of the way. Together, through Make-A-Wish, we create moments of joy and hope for kids and families who need it most. Thank you for being part of this heartfelt mission.”

Built by Community
For more than 50 years, our clients have entrusted us with their homes and, through that trust, made it possible for us to give back. The wishes we help fund are a direct result of the work we do every day. Every project supports a larger purpose.
Thank you for allowing us to serve your family and to support others through this meaningful partnership.
